Notes:

  • To get to the recovery, push and hold Back + Volume Down + Power until the LG logo appears.
  • In the VM670NH (CWM 4.0.1.5) Recovery, Volume = Change, Camera = Select, Back = go back.
  • There are 3 software revisions for this device: ZV4, ZV5, and ZV9. This information can be found under Settings -> About -> SW Version.
  • Many of the ROMs available use Inferior Human Organs as a base.
  • Recovery Mode is a mode that allows for the manipulation of the system from outside of the operating system. This can be used to backup the current system, restore the system, or install ROMs.
  • Version ZV4 has fastboot / bootloader access but all versions will go to fastboot if recovery is bad (again) which can happen from doing a factory reset after hacking
  • If, after hacking the phone, the device does not allow for mass storage via USB, try this
